I’m sure he knows what he has...
FWIW, my car was advertised on CL as being both AWD (it’s FWD) and 6-cylinders (it’s 5) (both in the title). As long as I knew what I was buying I wasn’t terribly concerned that the seller didn’t know what they were selling.

It’s got 175K miles! Must be reliable to get that far.

Not sure that I’d call it “fast”, either...

Its a 330 so 225hp orginally. about as much as my heavier E90 and its plenty Quick. Its Fast to people like me who’ve never had a truly fast car.

Minnesotans. every CL ad from Minnasota calls registration “ tabs” . Even some people here in Wi do. Altho “stickers ” is more common which is funny cuz ther es only one sticker .

Am in WI. Have heard ‘tabs’ before. Just not in a long long time from anyone under 50 years old.

Its kind of like hearing kids say “pop” instead of soda. That was as shocker when I first moved here.

absolutely.
Th ey also still call black people “ blacks” in a condescending tone . T he elderly are so charming.
I got bored while dec iding whether or not to post this so i opened a new tab and went straight to oppo. I think have an addiction.

True - it’s not really slow, either. It was quick for its time, but isn’t that quick compared to what’s available now (I’m quite sure that a new 330 with the 4 cylinder would walk away from it).

probably cars have come alng way in the last 10 years. when a new camry has 300hp and does 0-60 sub 7 seconds the world kinda changes.
in my mind anything sub 7 seconds is fast enough.
![]() 10/24/2018 at 14:47 |

My E46 will do 0-60 around 7.5 seconds (it’s a lowly 323cic) , according to C&D, and it’s fine.
But my E-class is around 4.5, and damn that’s nice.

that honestly scares me. I don’t think I can be trusted with hat kind of power.
the other cars 984 Rabbit, and 2010 Fit) make my 328 seem like a monster. as they are probably both in the 10 seconds to 60 range.

I work with young people who still throw around ‘colored’.
I hate this country.

Nah - you’d be fine. It’s an automatic, with AWD and plenty of understeer. On dry pavement, I can floor it with two fingers on the steering wheel (not that I recommend that).
It’s when you get that kind of power in something like a Viper that it gets hairy.

Oh yeah, I only think of one because I work at at a gas station, we renew registration and only give out the year sticker.
